Car and service dogs stolen from Lakewood couple LAKEWOOD, Colo. (KDVR) -- A Lakewood couple said their car was stolen with their two dogs inside Saturday. Paris Ralston and her husband Jimmy Holwuttle, both work as DoorDash drivers. They were inside the Big Daddy's Pizza location on Wadsworth Avenue picking up an order just after 7 p.m. when their blue 2017 Ford Focus Titanium was taken, with their two dogs in the back. There are a few distinguishing features on the car, like a ding on the passenger side door and a “My Nissan Denver” dealership sticker on the back. Father, daughter recovering after hit-and-run crash Diva and Cerberus, not just pets to them, are also service animals. Ralston is a military veteran and Holwuttle has bipolar I disorder. Northglenn family raises awareness for rare pediatric brain cancer NORTHGLENN, Colo. (KDVR) -- The Stegmueller family is hoping to get the word out about a terminal disease this brain cancer awareness month.The family is counting their blessings, happy to be home this Mother’s Day. “To be here on Mother’s Day, all of us, in our own house, where we don’t have to worry about getting to the doctor or flights, it’s relaxing. It’s so nice,” Kristin Stegmueller said. Kristin’s daughter, Mary, has Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Gliomas (DIPG), a rare form of pediatric brain cancer. Seat belt and DUI crackdowns begin this week DENVER (KDVR) — The largest seat belt enforcement period of the year begins on Monday, May 15. (WSVN) — A 13-year-old girl who came face-to-face with a shark while swimming at a Florida state park is opening up about the wild encounter that sent her to the hospital. Search on for missing 4-year-old boy at South Boston’s Castle Island First responders have rushed to Castle Island to help search for a missing 4-year-old boy, state police report tonight.A dive team has also been called along with Boston police and fire, the State Police Air Wing and Boston EMS. The State Police Marine Unit is also on-scene. Massport and boats from the state Environmental Police are also assisting as the search draws closer to midnight.They are “searching Castle Island … and in the surrounding ocean,” MSP said.The missing child is said to be 4 years old, but that is unofficial at this point.UPDATE: The State Police are now saying the missing child is a 4-year-old boy from South Boston.Castle Island is a peninsula in South Boston that’s right on the Harbor.
